l'Observatori Fabra - Fabra Observatory in Barcelona. An astronomical observatory in Barcelona. Built in 1904. It belongs to the "Reial Acadèmia de Ciències i Arts de Barcelona." The main activity of the Fabra Observatory is the study of asteroids and comets.

It is the fourth oldest observatory in the world that is still in use and this is where the comet 32P/Comas Solá was discovered on November 5, 1926 by Josep Comas Solá.

"Sopar amb estrelles"  Dinner with stars

"Sopar amb estrelles" mean "Dinner with stars." This a popular summer dinner in Barcelona every night from mid June to mid-September from Tuesday to Saturday nights. You can enjoy delicious outdoor dinner under the stars combined with stunning views of Barcelona. The dinner is accompanied by talks (in Spanish or Catalan only) from notable scientific or cultural speakers and the dinner food is inspired by the concept of outer space with dishes that represent the rings of Saturn, the moons of Jupiter or other aspects of the Solar System. When dinner is over, the real star gazing begins with tour of the Observatory museum, the art-nouveau room and the dome cupola, where the biggest and oldest telescope in Europe is located.
