Barca v AC Milan at the Camp Nou. In the first game against Milan at San Siro stadium in Italy, FCB managed a 1-1 draw, which was a decent result and much better than the 2-0 shock defeat they suffered in the previous Champions season at the San Siro. After the 2-0 last season Barca dug deep and found their best form to stage a dramatic comeback and beat Milan 4-0, so fingers crossed for a great result against AC Milan on Wed 6/11.
A victory over the Italians puts FC Barcelona into the next round of 16 even with two games left in the group stage. It should be possible. Barca are top of their group H with 7 points from with three wins and a draw. Milan are in second place with 5 points are 1 win and 2 draws. In their national leagues Barca are top of La Liga in Spain with an almost perfect 34 point score out of 36 possible points and the best goal balance in Europe at the moment with 34 goals score and only 7 in the Barca net. In Italy meanwhile, AC Milan trail in 10th place in the Serie A Italian division after collecting only one point in their last three games. So with the home game advantage and record league form this season, Barça should be feeling confident. But Milan are always a formidible opponent, so it will be an exciting game! The Barça squad will spend the night before the game at the Princesa Sofía Hotel.
