Event Description
Event location: Barcelona and global event Earth Hour 2014 Barcelona. Saturday 22nd March 2014. City landmarks and skylines go dark for one hour on Earch Hour to help conserve a bit of energy but more importantly raise awareness about Climate Change. YOu can be part of it in Barcelona by switching off your lights between 20:30 and 21:30 pm for Earth Hour 2014. Many top cities around the world take including Barcelona. Barcelona symbolically switches off lighting on landmark buildings like Torre Agbar, Sagrada Família, La Pedrera, the Montjuïc fountains and City Hall in Plaça Sant Jaume. Nearly 2,000 cities in over 80 countries have committed themselves to switching off the lights of their iconic buildings and many also have special events to highlight the event.
