This fabulous winter festival of parties and parades eclipses the Barcelona carnaval and is definately worth a visit for party lovers. There are several parades for all ages during carnaval week in Sitges. Among the biggest Sitges carnival parades are the evening parades called "Rua de la Disbauxa" - Debauchery Parade at 8pm on 26th February and the "Rua de l’Extermini" - Extermination parade at 8pm on Tuesday 28th February 2017. Both feature around 50 floats and 2-3000 dancing participants. Both processions usually start from Pl Cap de Vila in Sitges and continue along the waterfront. Also great fun for spectators is the "Llits Disfressats de Sitges" 1km "fancy dress bed" race on Saturday 25th Febuary 2017 at 12.00
