By Bus:Bus lines 55, 50 & 61
By Metro and funicular trainNearest station is Parallel. Take L3 to Parallel then take the funicular of Montjuic at the metro station Parallel When at top of funicular train (there is only one stop) then the diving pool is a one minute walk to left when you exit the funicular train station. See map of location of pool
NOTE: There are three different swimming pools on Montjuic, Barcelona. The other two are the Bernat Picornell Olympic pool which has indoor and outdoor pools and is open to the general public all year round. And there is an outdoor pool in a private sports club on Montjuic.

We visited the diving pool three times recently and every time it was closed to the public as private lessons were going on. Sadly the entrance attendants were neither friendly or helpful.
Editors reply: Sorry to hear that. I think you just had bad luck - perhaps you were there when there was a diving competition earlier in the summer. We just checked with the pool today (7th August) and they told us that they were open daily from 11.00 to 18.30. |
