Picnic in the sky - "Picnic Al Cel" - Montjuic Barcelona

"Picnic al Cel" is an innovative and fun evening dinner in the sky every Tuesday from 22nd July 2008 to 23rd September 2008 in the Telefčric de Montjuīc, the Montjuic Cable Car gondola cable car on the Montjuic Mountain which takes tourists by day to the castle of Montjuic and now diners by night. NOTE (This is NOT the red cable car across the port but the silver cars going up the mountain).
This activity has been organised the Cafe La Caseta del Migdia on Montjuic. The food is supplied by delicatessen company Goulaffres and the local Catalan brewery Moritz provides the beer.
The idea is to have dinner while gliding up and down the mountain for an hour enjoying spectacular views of Barcelona city by night. There are 3 stops on each circuit and a new dish and beer is served at each stop.
Each car can seat up to 6 people at 40 euros per person. Or for a private car with just 2 occupants it's 80 euros each. Max 100 diners every Tuesday, so book early.
This is the first year, but sure to be a popular recurring activity every summer.
