Tutankhamun -
his tomb and his treasures.
Tutankhamun (1341 BC – 1323 BC) was an Egyptian Pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty. 87 years ago in 1922 American Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb completely intact and untouched with vast treasures in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. Tutankhamun's burial mask remains the most popular artifact of the find.
This exhibition shows the world’s only museum-quality replica of Tutankhamun tomb and its treasures and gives the public the opportunity to visit the tomb three-dimensionally in its original state. Welcome to the Valley of Kings in
Barcelona!

Drassanes Reials - Maritime Museum Barcelona - Museu Marítim
The Maritime Museum, Museu Marítim, is
located in the Ciutat Vella (old city) in the district called La Raval near the end of the Ramblas and close to the statue of Christopher
Columbus. It is in a building called "Drassanes Reials de Barcelona, " which means the Royal Shipyards.
The Royal shipyards were constructed in 1378, by agreement of King Pere
IV, the Consell de Cent (Council of One Hundred) and the Diputació del
General (Council of the General)
In 1993, centuries later, the Consorci de les Drassanes Reials i Museu
Marítim de Barcelona (Barcelona Shipyard and Maritime Museum
Consortium) was formed to develop and maintain the buildings and the
Maritime Museum of Barcelona.
The Maritime museum also has a musuem ship, a schooner called Santa Eulàlia, which is open to the public (when it is in port) which is moored at the Moll de la Fusta at Barcelona’s Port Vell very close to the walkway
over to the MareMagnum shopping centre at the end of La Rambla walking street.
