Iconos Cultural Tours has an excellent "The Shadow of the Wind" Tour of Barcelona. The tour visits the enchanting locations in Barcelona from the bestselling novel of the same name by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

Tour description:

The tour begins in Rambla Sta. Mónica  in the arch of the theatre we can imagine "the wood door which time and humidity has blackened" and "the abandoned corpse of a palace, or a museum of echoes and shadows", the forgotten books cemetery. Then  Plaza Real, down Llibreteria Street.  

Continuing through Argenteria Street to the church of Santa Maria del Mar and Montcada Street to discover the Santa Lucía Asylum and Xampanyet.  Next the restaurant Els Quatre Gats and Santa Ana Street, next to Church Square, the house and bookshop of "Sempera and Sons" is there. We continue through Canuda Street to know the Ateneum of Barcelona, "a spot in the city that hasn't retired from the XIXth century."

In the second part of the tour we move to Tibidabo Avenue and Bonanova .
