The fabulous outdoor Olympic swimming pool, designed by Antoni de Moragas, was built in 1992 for the diving events of the Barcelona Olympics. It has a seating capacity of 4.100 spectators and the panoramic views of the city provide a unique backdrop for diving events.
Because the pool was designed as a competition pool and is not part of a sports centre as such there are no fitness facilities. The changing rooms could use a renovation.
Also note that there are no deckchairs for sunbathing, and no food on sale, so it it advisable to bring your own refreshments and a thick towel to lie on.
But the pool itself and the views are unbeatable
