Font Māgica de Montjuīc. The magic fountain of Montjuic is located near Plaza Espanya at the foot of the MNAC, National Art Museum of Catalonia. They are a must see thing to do in Barcelona.
If you go at the show times then you will witness a magical display of light, music and water, inspired by the value of water and the need to preserve it. The show is a choreographic version of a musical composition called Moldava, by the Czech composer Bedrich Smetana, which was inspired by the life a river creates as it goes on its way.
The director of the Orquestra Simfōnica Juliā Carbonell from Lleida, Alfons Reverté, helped create the show, which you can see at the usual times for shows at the fountain. Last year, 2.5 million people attended the different shows at the Magic Fountain.
The Magic fountain is open to everyone and free.

Winter: (October to April):
Friday and Saturday in operation from 19.00 to 21.00
Light and music show: 19.00. 19.30, 20.00 and 20.30
Summer: (May to October):
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in operation from 20-00 to midnight.
Light and music show every 30 minutes from 21.30 to 23.30.
