Parc d'Atracciones Tibidabo &
Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor You might have noticed the illuminated building on a hill overlooking Barcelona. That is the
Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, the Church of the Sacred Heart. It is not a major architechural triumph, but fun to visit for the views and to see the quirky statue of Jesus on top that sits at the very top at 500 metres above sea level.

Right next to the church you will find a small but very quaint amusement park. This is the 100 year old Parc d'Atracciones Tibidabo , which every family in Barcelona has visited at some point in their lives. If La Rambla is the heart of Barcelona then Tibidabo must the the smile of Barcelona!

The older rides look scarey, but they are regularly inspected. And with Jesus, Mary and a host of other angels and saints watching over you at all times from the
Sagrat Cor, this has to be one of the safest amusement parks in the world.
