Read about the beaches of Barcelona  There are seven connecting beaches in Barcelona each with a different name, but along the same coast line. This is Bogatell beach
 There are chiringuitos (beach bars) on all the Barcelona beaches  Barcelona is on the east coast of Spain facing the Mediterranean sea. You can usually swim from mid-June to End September with water temperature between 19 - 24 celcius.
 Newest beach stretch called Llevant at Diagonal Mar area  Mar Bella beach Barcelona. Base Nautica sailing & windsurfing club in background  Surfing has become popular in Barcelona in recent years, but the city has put in breakwaters to stop beach erosion. so the surfers have to go outside Barcelona to find best waves. For kitesurfing classes head to Castelldefels south of Barcelona.

From the beaches you see the sunrise, but the sun sets over the hills behind Barcelona. But in the summer it's light enough to stay on the beach until around 9 pm.
 Clean beaches in the winter. Remember to keep them that way in the summer. Put your litter in the bins.  |
