Route:  Across the harbour of Barcelona from San Sebastian to Montjuic Mountain.

The "Transbordador Aeri del Port" is the most spectacular ride with stunning views of all Barcelona in a cable car ride that takes you across the harbour of Barcelona to and from from Montjuic to San Sebastian beach near Barceloneta beach. Since opening on 11th November 1931, this cable has been a fast and thrilling way to get from beach to mountain. At the top of the cable car tower on the beach there is an exclusive restaurant called Torre de alta Mar.

Route:  From halfway up Montjuic to the top where there there is an old military fort.

This cable car connects with the funicular mountain train (see below) to give visitors to Montjuic mountain a fast and fun way to get to the top where they can enjoy views from the old military fort (Castell de Montjuic) where many cultural activities take place every year. Closed for annual maintenance usually in February. Another way to see the attractions of Montjuic is to take the special Montjuic tour bus.

The Funicular of Montjuïc is a fast and fun way to get up the Montjuic mountain. The journey starts at the Parallel metro station (Lines 2 and 3) and takes 2 minutes. You will arrive very close to the Olympic installations of Palau sant Jordi, the Olympic stadium and swimming pools, The Olympic diving pools, and the Miró foundation and many more attractions and parks.
Closed for annual maintenance from 8th & 26th February 2010




Name:  Funicular de Tibidabo - funicular railway to top of Tibidabo hill
Route:  To/From the Plaça del Doctor Andreu at end of Avinguda Tibidabo to Tibadabo Amusement Park.

This is a fun ride to a fun place. Take the vintage blue tram, El Tramvia Blau, to get to the mountain train called Funicular de Tibidabo, which will take you to the top of the hill of Tibidabo overlooking Barcelona.

Route:  To/From the "Peu de Funicular" station to the top of this line at Vallvidrera village

This is mostly a commuter funicular train, but can also be used by visitors to get to the village of Vallvidrera which has nearby attractions like Collserola park , the Tower of Collserola and Tibadabo amusement park
