The "Transbordador Aeri del Port" is the most spectacular ride with stunning views of all Barcelona in a cable car ride that takes you across the harbour of Barcelona to and from from Montjuic to San Sebastian beach near Barceloneta beach. Since opening on 11th November 1931, this cable has been a fast and thrilling way to get from beach to mountain. At the top of the cable car tower on the beach there is an exclusive restaurant called Torre de alta Mar. Name: Telefèric de Montjuïc - Montjuic hill cable car. Colour: Silver cabins Route: From halfway up Montjuic to the top where there there is an old military fort. This cable car connects with the funicular mountain train (see below) to give visitors to Montjuic mountain a fast and fun way to get to the top where they can enjoy views from the old military fort (Castell de Montjuic) where many cultural activities take place every year. This is a fun ride to a fun place. Take the vintage blue tram, El Tramvia Blau, to get to the mountain train called Funicular de Tibidabo, which will take you to the top of the hill of Tibidabo overlooking Barcelona.
