La Molina ski resort a popular ski resort near Barcelona, just 2 hours drive from the very centre of Barcelona. La Molina also has a one day "Skitren" train package, which includes return train trip to La Molina, transport to the ski-slopes by bus, and a 1 day ski-pass. The cost is € 41.50 for adults and € 31.50 for children. You can buy the "Skitren La Molina" ticket at all Renfe Cercanías/Rodalies railway stations in Barcelona, for example stations Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, Sants among others. Many travel agencies also offer 1 day bus trips to La Molina

Along with neighbouring resort La Masalla , La Molina forms the combined resort of "Alp2500". which offers a combined ki-pass for both resorts. La Molina also has a big Snowpark accessible via the Trampolí [Ski-jump] chairlift equipped with modules, railings and ramps. It is ideal for freestyle, for all kinds of jumping and acrobatics and has one of the longest slope styles in the Pyrenees, with up to 7 consecutive modules with different levels of difficulty. It also features an impressive Half-Pipe, 90 metres long and 3.70 metres high in the Torrent Negre area.

Getting to La Molina ski resort by train from Barcelona

Time: Approx 3 hours by train from center of Barcelona - Line is L'Hospitalet-Puigcerdé
