Cable car Barcelona port - Transbordador Aeri del Port

Telephone
932252718
Cable car Barcelona port - Transbordador Aeri del Port
Cable car across Barcelona port - Red and White cabins. Transbordador Aeri del Port. The port cable car travels every 10-15 minutes across Port Vell(old harbour) of Barcelona from Montjuic mountain. The red port cable cars was opened on 11th November 1931, probably as a late arrival for the 1929 World Exhibition in Barcelona. The cabins hold 19 persons and are suspended 70 m above the sea.

The official name is Transbordador Aeri del Port, but it is often called the "Teleferico de Montjuic" which a bit confusing because this is the same name as Barcelona's other cable car on Montjuic mountain The Transbordador Aeri del Port port cable car service is run by the company Teleféricos de Barcelona S.A. Their address is Moll Nou, s/n (no number) 08039 Barcelona. They don't have a website or email but the phone number is 932252718.
