Portugal v Spain - World Cup Russia 2018. Spain's opening game is against neighbours Portugal. Spain is in Group B with Portugal, Morocco and Iran. Permission has not been granted by local government for giant screens in Barcelona in public squares to watch Spain's group world cup football games but a private fan organisation called 'Barcelona con la Selección' has arranged for an open-air big screen with FREE admission in the municipal football ground of 'Camp Municipal de Fútbol de l´Aliga' This is at address Plaça d'Alfonso Comín, 1 which is in the Gracia area of Barcelona at the foot of Tibidabo hill, so not a very central location Nearest Metro is Penitents L3. It has room for 2500 spectators. Doors open at 6pm and there will music prior to the game. The Camp de l´Aliga open-air screen will show all Spain's games in the World Cup.

Most local fans will be watching at home on national channel TV Telecinco or at Barcelona's many pubs, cafes and sports bars. The Spanish team will then play Iran on the 24th June at 20.00 and close the group stage against Morocco on the 28th June also at 20.00. All these games will be on Spanish TV Telecinco.
