The Clasico game is one of the most anticipated clashes of the liga season when the "Blaugrana" welcome "los Blancos" at Camp Nou stadium. Team managers Luis Enrique and Zinedine Zidane have faced each other as players in the clasico and now again as managers. Last time Real Madrid were the victors at Camp Nou stadium beating Barça 1-2. On paper Real Madrid are in better form going in to the clasico.  They currently lead the Spanish primera league with 33 points, a six point lead after six consecutive wins. Barça shares second place with Sevilla at 27 points after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad in the last round. Cristiano Ronaldo is ahead of both Suarez and Messi and tops the goalscoring charts with 10 goals. But Barcelona's MSN attacking trident of Messi, Suarez and Neymar could very easily turn the tide of Real Madrid's winning streak and with captain Andrés Iniesta back on the FCB squad and the Barça fans filling the Camp Nou confidence is high.

"El Clásico" (in Spanish) or "el Clàssic" (in Catalan) is the nickname of matches between rivals FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Spanish league, in the Copa del Rey or in the Champions League. The two clasico league games are among the most anticipated and watched football games in the world.

The recent years Clasico games have also been the battle of the goal scoring giants Messi and Ronaldo. Current Barca legend Messi hopes to score his 500th career goal today and he has a good chance as the current leading goal scorer in clasico games with 21 goals. His big rival from Real Madrid Christiano Ronaldo has scored 16 goals in clasico matches making him second clasico top scorer.

Clasico tickets are among the most sought sports tickets in the world and maybe the hardest to get, so buy clasico tickets as early as possible. They are not cheap, but it's a chance in a lifetime to see one of the greatest games in the football calendar with a world-wide estimated 500 million football fans tuning in to watch online and on TV in over 30 countries.

At the Camp Nou over 500 foreign sports journalists will cover the game. It is the biggest league soccer game in the world and as big as super bowl finals and world cup finals. Don't miss it!
