Park Guell history
This incredible fairy tale like park was originally a residential estate developement, which was constructed from 1900 to 1914 by Gaudi for Eusebi Güell, his wealth patron. The residential concept failed and later it become a public park.

Inside there are several iconic Gaudi creations including the serpentine bench on the nature plaza. 2019 Note. the nature plaza is currently under renovation.
