Irish folk and pop singer Sinéad O'Connor performs at Jardins de Cap Roig Festival which is a series of summer concerts in the auditorium of  "Jardí Botànic de Caixa Girona"  the Botanical Gardens of Caixa Girona, which is located by the sea close to the town of Palafrugell. The festival venue is only accessible by car and is about 1 hour by car from Girona and 2 hours from Barcelona. The festival was created by Caixa Girona Foundation as a summer festival to showcases different music styles on the Costa Brava.
