Stand up Comedy Danny Lobell. Big Apple comedy has a particular flavour a real edge and the GG is delighted for a second time this season to bring to Spain one of the leading lights of that scene in Danny Lobell. Fittingly the name of his show is called simply ‘New York, New York’ and has just been through the Glasgow Comedy festival where it has received rave reviews.The award winning Danny Lobell Show and  his wildly popular radio show Comical Radio -  heard locally on NYC's WBMB 87.9 FM - has played host to some of the best names in both the comedy and entertainment business and is currently one of the most downloaded podcasts on iTunes in the USA. Lobell has established himself as one of the most important names in comedy radio in the US. Over the last two years Danny has also contributed to both the Colbert Report and the Daily Show on Comedy Central amongst others.Danny has enjoyed success on the screen too, with the popular web series Rise of the Radio Show and co-starring opposite Rick Shapiro in the cult-indie film Show Stoppers.Danny Lobell has performed literally all over the world and in the last 2 years begun to establish himself in the demanding world of the Scottish comedy where he spent half his childhood so has a strong sense of European tastes!
