Grec Festival Barcelona. The Grec festival is Barcelona's big annual summer cultural festival of dance, theatre and music festival with a select programme at more than 50 venues in the city. For 2024 Grec presents concerts, shows, theater, and other events from 26th July - 4th August 2024. The Grec festival name is inspired by the Teatre Grec in Barcelona (greek theatre) which is one of the festival venues. Teatre Grec is an open air theatre on Montjuïc hill built for the 1929 Barcelona Universal Exhibition.  Spectators can enjoy plays, concerts, hybrid performances, dance shows, circus performances and movies.
