What's on in April 2019 in Barcelona


April is a very nice month to visit Barcelona. The weather is usually sunny and warm and there are many events and many things to do in April in Barcelona. 

In the month of April 2019 you can enjoy concerts at the Barcelona Guitar Festival and classical concerts at Barcelona concert halls like the Liceu opera house, the Palau de la Musica - and at the Auditori concert hall.  

For pop fans Barcelona in April welcomes Mumford And Sons, Lukas Graham among others.

Just after Easter is another big festival day in April on 23rd April - this is Sant Jordi's day, el Día de Sant Jordi - St. George's day and the most romantic day in Barcelona of the year.

Don't miss the Biergarten Beer Festival at Poble Espanyol Spanish village on Montjuic hill - and for fashion shops and family fun visit the DownTown market in Port Vell Marina organised by the Maremagmum mall.


April Sports in Barcelona


There is world class soccer action at Camp Nou stadium when Barça stars like Messi, Suarez, Coutinho battle for trophies.

In 2019 in April Barca play several Spanish liga games at Camp Nou including an epic Champions league quarter-final game FC Barcelona v Man United at Camp Nou stadium on Tuesday 16th April 2019.

For runners Barcelona has a big 10k run in April, the Cursa de Corte Ingles and for tennis fans some of the world's top tennis stars also visit Barcelona in April for the Barcelona Open Tennis tournament.

At the end of April month the annual Andalucian festival Feria de Abril de Catalunya takes place at Port Forum and continues into May.
