Barcelona Puppet Festival 2020. 11th edition of Barcelona Puppet Festival.

TOT Festival - El Festival de Títeres de Barcelona. Festival de Marionetas. Festival tickets are included in Poble Espanyol general admission ticket. 

Free entrance for children under four years old.

The Barcelona Puppet Festival is a weekend of international puppet shows in the streets and squares of el Poble Espanyol Spanish village on Montjuic hill

On Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October from 11am to 6 pm you can enjoy more than shows by national and international companies on many stages in the Poble Espanyol Village.

Puppet shows include shadow play, marionettes, stick puppets and even opera!

This fun festival is inspired by World Puppetry Day on 21st March every year.

The festival is usually in March but moved in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

T-O-T Festival name is from the words "Títeres, Objetos, Teatro" which means "Puppets, Objects Theatre."

El Poble Espanyol. Poble Espanyol in the Catalan language means Spanish village. Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village) is located on Montjuic hill near Plaza España. The Spanish village in Barcelona is both an open air museum in Barcelona and an event venue and attraction. Poble Espanyol has 40 handicraft shops, several excellent restaurants, a popular open air summer club La Terrrazza and one of Barcelona best flamenco shows called El Tablao de Carmen

Poble Espanyol village is the venue for many outdoor festivals, concerts and activities . Poble Espanyol village was constructed in 1929 for the Barcelona International Exhibition as a one of the Spanish pavilion. The idea was to present an authentic Spanish 'village' in the middle of Barcelona but showcasing the styles and characteristics of the many regiional areas and cultures of the Spanish peninsula. The result was 117 different buildings, streets and squares. Poble Espanyol organises many popular events, concerts and festivals including Poble Espanyol Christmas festival and Poble Espanyol New Year Party.
