Barcelona Metro is Barcelona network of public transport undergrond train lines in central Barcelona and from the center into the suburbs. The metro network is operated by two separate companies. One is the Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) and the other is the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC). At the moment there are 12 Barcelona metro lines.

Metro tickets work on both TMB and FGC trains which connect at several stations. Three lines in the metro network are automatic trains or in other words driverless trains, which are Line 11, Line 9 and Line 10
