FC Barcelona suffers 12-1 record defeat in Bilbao. On February 8, 1931, Athletic Club defeated FC Barcelona 12-1 that is still remembered as the worst defeat in FC Barcelona history. James Bellamy was coach of Barcelona. At half-time they were already losing 6-1 in San Mamés. Athletic scored another half-dozen goals against Barça in the second half to close the score at a scandalous 12-1.
