What's on in Barcelona March 2024?


Things to do in March in Barcelona? March is always a nice month to visit Barcelona with lots to do. Generally March welcomes visitors with typical sunny spring weather in Barcelona and just right for sightseeing and walking around the city.

The sea water is still cold for swimming but you can often enjoy sun on the beach and on Barcelona's many cafe terraces. In March you can enjoy concerts at the Barcelona Guitar festival which is a series of concerts themed around the guitar instrument.

You can also enjoy concerts at the Maria Canals music competition. In March 2024 Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi arena welcomes super band Depeche Mode. 

Easter 2024 falls in March. See our guide to Barcelona Easter. At the beginning of March you can enjoy a festive evening parade at the traditional candy festival Festa de Sant Medir in the Gracia area. Other events include the Volta a Catalunya bike race, the popular Barcelona marathon and several major business trade fairs.  

Children will enjoy a Harry Potter Exhibition and a dinosaur exhibition. You might also consider a trip to Valencia to experience the Valencia fire festival.
