Dinner in the Sky Barcelona on Saturday May 5th 2012. Tickets are still on sale for the hair-raising experience of eating on a platform floating in mid-air 50m above the ground in Barcelona. The level of dining in Barcelona doesn't get higher than that. Dinner in the Sky is probably the world's most unique dining experience and now it comes to Barcelona in May 2012. From 10 am until past midnight you can have breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner floating 50m above the ground on a platform under a giant crane. The dining platform has 22 sports seats 4 point safety belts which can rotate 180 degrees for fantastic views. The seats are placed around a rectangular bar table. So you are perfectly safe, but it's a good idea to visit the restroom before sitting down to eat. This will be the first event of its kind in Barcelona so quite unique. This adrenaline filled meal in the skies is catered by Restaurant Nuclo and includes spectacular views of Barcelona and Montjuic from the Dinner in the Sky location near the Magic fountain and Pl Espanya. There is a roof on the platform in case of rain, but will be cancelled in the event of high winds. Dress warmly and don't try this at home - and don't spill your wine!
