Ceramics museum Barcelona. Museu de Cerámica i de les Arts Decoratives. The Ceramics museum has an impressive collections of ceramics and decorative arts. From 2015 the ceramics museum moved to a new location in DHUB museum on Plaça de les Glòries. The Ceramics museum was previously in the Palau Reial de Pedralbes - the Royal Palace of Pedralbes since 1990. The Palau Reial de Pedralbes is an 18th century royal palace built for King Alfonso XIII and used by the Spanish royal family from 1922 to 1924. The ceramics museum occupied part of the first and second floors while the ground floor housed the former throne-room and large salons which are used for public functions. The palace has beautifully tended terraced gardens called "Jardins del Palau de Pedralbes," which are free to visit.
