17th of December 1889

 The famous Buffalo Bill and his famous Wild-West Show landed by ship in Barcelona on the 17th of December 1889. A big crowd was waiting at the port to greet them and were amazed by the huge buffalos. The show was as Barcelona's first bullring called "El Torín" in the Barceloneta neighborhood. The bullring no longer exists but the  location was where the Mare Nostrum Tower, the headquarters of gas company, Gas Natural Fenosa, is currently located. A big crowd was waiting at Barcelona port to greet Buffalo Bill and apparently they were amazed by the huge buffalos.
