10th July 1925
July 10th July 1925 founder of FC Barcelona, Joan Gamper, was compelled to step down from his position as President of the club after pressure from the Primo de Rivera dictatorship. The Club was shut down for six months following an incident where supporters booed the Spanish National Anthem during a match against Júpiter, held as a tribute to the Orfeó Català choral society. This was the end of Joan Gamper's time as president of FC Barcelona.
