For the third year Plaza Catalunya will have an ice rink with a skating area of 1200m2 big (40m by 30m) making it the biggest outdoor ice rink in Europe. The ice skating rink on Plaza Catalunya has room for 350 skaters. There are changing areas and a cafeteria. Around 90,000 people put on their skates in Barcelona last year.
