La Tamborinada festival. Fun festival for the children and families at Barcelona's Parc de la Cuitadella every year at start of June. Many wonderful things for families with over one hundred organisations taking part in the endless list of activities including concerts, workshops, shopping stalls,  clowns, theatre, circus, parades, catalan giants, human towers and treasure hunts and more. Over one thousand volunteers make it all possible and visitor numbers can reach 75000. Admission FREE.
